Appalachian Baby Sweet Dreams Blanket

This baby blanket pattern is the perfect blanket for the beginning knitter or for the knitter who wants simple and easy.  Only knit and purl stitches are used, which are combined into 3 easy stitch patterns:  seed stitch, stockinette stitch, and knit one-purl one ribbing.  The result is a soft blanket for baby’s sweet dreams.  And of course, machine wash and dry.

Requires 6-194 yard balls of dyed yarn of choice and Sweet Dreams baby blanket pattern.

Skill level: Moderately Easy

Size: Approximately 32" x 32" washed and blocked

Needles: Size US 6 (4mm) 32" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: Stitch markers

Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows=4" in garter st, blocked
