Esme Quilt Challenge
Good evening Challengers,
How are you doing? We have been thinking about each of you and wondering what you are making with your Esme Cahill Comes to Town Challenge Kit. If you haven’t started yet, get to it. There are only 28 days for you to make your beautiful quilt and get it to us by May 29th. (Even less if you need to mail it to us). Luckily the smallest quilt requirement is a 12 inch square and the largest a 24 inch square, or any size in between. Yes, you could do a rectangle shape quilt.
We have had some questions about which techniques you can use, well you could piece, needle turn applique, raw-edge applique, weave strips of fabric, and whatever else you can think of. You must have three layers (quilt top, batting, and backing) and use the three fabrics in your quilt. You can use as little or as much of the three fabrics we provided with as many more fabrics you want to add.
Our hope is that you will have so much fun with this challenge it will become an Annual Event for us. If you have any questions, please let us know. This is to be a no stress activity, just some creative and me time for you. Have a great week and get to quilting.
