Cocoknits Franca Sweater KAL



Greetings knitters!
Are you an advanced beginner/intermediate knitter? 
Do you have more scarfs/wraps/hats than you know what to do with?
Are you ready to learn how to knit a sweater?
Well good, because Cocoknits is hosting a free virtual workshop, and we are participating.
The KAL goes live Feb 5th, 2021 and will last 10 weeks.

You must have the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book to participate in this KAL. Please be sure to select "Class & Materials" to include the book at checkout.

Prepare yourself by purchasing the pattern directly from Cocoknits Franca Pattern or on Ravelry.

Yarn requirements...Be sure to measure, and calculate required yardage accurately, over estimation is safer than under estimation.
Finished Bust: 34 (38, 42, 46, 51, 55)"
Approximately 1075 (1275, 1450, 1650, 1850, 2050) yds heavy worsted/aran weight yarn. 


Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Must have cast on/bind off, knit/purl, increase/decrease, ability to follow pattern skills.
Requirements: You will need the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book.
Instructor: Cocoknits
Instructor Bio: Cocoknits founder, Julie Weisenberger, learned to knit and completed her first sweater in college while studying abroad in Salzburg, Austria. She has been knitting and designing ever since. In the 1980s she ran her own knitwear company; in the 1990s she designed sweaters for yarn companies and magazines; and in 2007 she founded Cocoknits.com, her own pattern and tool company. Over the years she has developed and perfected a unique top-down, seamless method of sweater knitting called the Cocoknits Method, and created a line of tools that make the process of knitting and Making easier and more beautiful. For the past decade Julie has been teaching classes throughout the United States and in Europe on the Cocoknits Method and selecting flattering knitwear styles for different body proportions. She lives in Oakland, California
